About the AZNRCD

The Arizona NRCD State Association is made up of Arizona's Natural Resource Conservation Districts and Soil and Water Conservation Districts. These districts identify natural resource problems and opportunities and formulate working plans to address them through the volunteer efforts of landowners on the local level.

AZNRCD enhances this mission by providing leadership, which represents the issues and concerns of conservation districts and provides a mechanism for conservation districts to work cohesively in addressing issues at the local, state, and national levels.

Through our leadership we strive to:

  • Influence natural resourcepolicy and programs
  • Provide information exchange
  • Provide products and services to Conservation Districts

Develop human and other resources to address natural resource needs and issues

Create a forum of communication between diverse natural resource and other groups

AACD Key Initiatives:

  • Promote responsible management and use of natural resources.
  • Encourage voluntary solutions to natural resource problems.
  • Assist Conservation Districts in funding and conservation opportunities.
  • Provide training for Supervisors to further their efforts in their districts.
